Black metal legends Behemoth debut vicious new single 'Wolves ov Siberia'

Blasphemous black metal titans Behemoth have released the second track to be taken from forthcoming studio masterwork ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest.’ Unleashed ahead of the album’s hugely anticipated 5th October release, the aptly-titled ‘Wolves ov Siberia’ comprises a gloriously feral, frostbitten onslaught that sees poundingly primal blasts abound with ritualistic majesty alongside coldly immersive strains of tremolo. Seamlessly blending these genre-defining trappings with a generous measure of expansive, blackly melodic riffage that lends to the mix a full and intoxicating richness of sound, ‘Wolves...’ exemplifies perfectly the self-styled melding of blackened aggression and electrifying rock that keenly defines the band’s ever-evolving sound circa 2018. Premiered in the richly atmospheric shape of a music video filled with frantic, whirling camerawork and sweeping panoramic shots of its suitably mountainous, mist-shrouded location, ‘Wolves ov Siberia’ is now available to view below.

Tipped to be Behemoth’s most dynamic and sonically ingenious record yet, the trio's 11th meticulously arranged long-player features an acclaimed host of renowned studio talent including mixing maestro Matt Hyde (Slayer, Children of Bodom), mastering by Tom Baker (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson) together with a 17-piece Polish orchestra arranged by Jan Stoklosa. Featuring what is also undoubtedly the band’s most controversial and curiosity-sparking album title yet, ‘I Loved You At Your Darkest' takes its name from an unlikely source, to say the least. "It's a verse from the Bible," frontman Nergal reveals. "It's actually a quote from Jesus Christ himself. For Behemoth to use it as the basis of our record, it's sacrilege to the extreme."
